Rental FAQ's
How does renting from AKL Guitar Studio work?
- Submit a request to rent below.
- We respond with confirmation of availability and with request for your details, initial payment and recurring payment setup (if required).
- We arrange a pick up time for you from our studio location.
- You collect your instrument.
- Whenever you are ready, contact us to arrange return of your instrument back to our studio location.
What’s included with a rental?
All guitars come with a protective gig bag, and amplifier packages include leads and accessories so you can plug in and play. Each rental pack includes the essentials you need to get started right away.
How long can I rent for?
As long as you like. There is no limit on how long you can keep your instrument. When you are ready to return your instrument, just get in touch anytime to arrange drop off.
Is there a minimum rental term?
There is a minimum term of 2 weeks for our rentals, but that is only a minimum charge. You can return your instrument anytime inside those 2 weeks. Or if you want to keep it longer you can decide to do that as well.
How do I arrange a rental return?
Simply get in touch to let us know and we will advise when you can drop it back to us. We are open 7 days so there is likely to be no restrictions. Do contact us before hand to be sure.
Do you offer short term rentals?
Yes. We can accommodate any rental length. The minimum fee is the equivalent of 2 weeks rental. You can return your instrument anytime inside these 2 weeks as needed.
Will I get the exact guitar shown in the photos?
Photos are for example only. Instruments supplied may vary in brand, colour, or finish depending on availability. All rentals are reliable, lesson-ready instruments chosen by us.
